I like to spend.
I like to save .
I only buy what I need each month.
I keep things balanced that way

Having a budget and a plan monthly helps out a lot around my home.

I try to stay within a budget, but it is hard when hubby thinks we can just go buy things on a whim.  He no longer has the check book .  And we now discuss   it before buying.  I have built our credit score up  to over 800 and I want it stay that way.  It didn't use to bother him. But he now  really understands why it is so important.

I do some budgeting. I try to budget just a  couple pay checks at a time. Otherwise I would really overwhelm my self with everything

I have used a household budget for years.  All my bills are broken down into 4 weekly payments each month.  (Example if my bill for our cell phone service is $200 ... I designate $50 each week toward that bill)

This way I know exactly how much of my pay each week goes directly into the bank to pay the bills and the money is always there.

I have always had a budget. I need to look at numbers, so I keep a pretty detailed excel spreadsheet of household expenses and then allocate a budget for "extras" (which includes gas and groceries). I barely spend money during the week, so I really just have to pay more attention on the weekends.

I'm a saver.  I use a three dollar system.  I divide the paycheck into thirds.  One third I save.  One third I spend/save to buy something more expensive and the last one I put in a jar to use for a rainy day or to spend on presnets for family members at birthday/holiday times.

I spend only after all household bills are paid and savings has been put away.

I try to stick to a budget. It keeps me out of trouble when it comes to my finances.

I've gotten used to saving over the years. Both of our kids were/are in private school, and we were able to squirrel enough away to send our oldest boy to a great college and will be able to do so (God willing) with our youngest son next year. But that means not buying something just because I want it but only when I need it, for the most part! :)

I keep a really strict budget with all my accounts in a document. Every penny has a purpose, and try to stay within all of those budgets. After every purchase or bill, I go and deduct the amount within the document. Seeing what you are purchasing and the final amount dwindle, really holds you accountable. Before doing this, I would probably spend $50 a paycheck just picking up breakfast or running and getting a coffee. But budgeting and meal prepping, I've gained that back, which is really nice for paying off bills or student loans in advance.

I always stick to a budget and buy the things I need each month and dont go buying unnecessary stuff. I am more focus on saving because it will benefit me later on. As much as I like to spend ...every once in a while I put a little aside to spend on me sometimes.

With every pay I take out 100 and move most of it into a high interest savings account.
