Do you smoke cigarettes?

I have never smoked, but a carton of cigarettes are so expensive. Do you smoke and do you buy cigarettes by the pack or the carton?

I tried it once when I was 19. My grandparents had always smoked so growing up I was curious. After that first inhale I was done. Felt like I inhaled charcoal or something.

I smoke a cigarette if available after I've had several beers.  It seems to go together.  Sometimes I use the e-cigarettes to get a little safer buzz.

Nope I quit back in 2001. Glad I did the prices are outrageous

I quit smoking 2 year ago  I do vape now and again  but do not crave a real cigarette at all in fact the smell makes me sick now

I smoked a few years ago.  I stopped though because i did not want to destroy my health. My body is a temple. Why kill it.

I smoked since I was a babe because second-hand smoke counts. Luckily, I learned our lungs can heal. Tobacco is a medicine plant that is addictive, we all need to learn to respect it.

Fortunately I have never taken up smoking. Between health and expense it is not worth it.

yeah quite the hard habit to quit down to 8-9 a day will probably try vaping soon.

I've smoked maybe 2 packs total throughout my whole life. Not a good habit! Makes everything smell, yellow (even white cats' fur!), and crazy expensive. My mom has been smoking most of my life, but my dad managed to quit.

It's amazing how expensive they are for one pack & people still buy them... crazy.

The people of California voted in a $2 cig tax last year... even more crazy.

Unfortunately I still do smoke.   It's a horrible habit to try and quit, I've tried numerous times.  Tried prescriptions from the doctor, gum, patches and cold turkey the whole gambit with no luck.   I have started vaping to cut back and it does help.  I also keep my cigarettes in a different room than I'm in so I have to get up and go get one when I want one.  Helps not to have them right next to me.

I've never really smoked cigarettes, other than a couple when I was a teenager to look "cool." However, I do feel for people who do smoke. It must be a habit that is incredibly difficult to break, especially if one smokes quite a few cigarettes a day!

No, I have never smoked and am glad that I never started. It is a hard habit to break, it is expensive and not good for your health.

No I do not smoke now but I did for many years which I very much regret.  Between years of smoking on and off I don't have great breathing capability but I also have no desire to ever smoke again.  And I can't believe how much they cost now.
