Gotta look at the big picture... That is a dollar you wouldn't have had if you had not taken that survey. Having said that, an hour is not typical unless the survey includes watching a whole episode of a show. Did yours include a show? If not, maybe you should stick to the shorter surveys?
It should also be noted that a dollar IS "making money"... it might not be the kind of money you would like, but this is a sideline... NOT a job.
I could have had that attitude 4+ years when I started doing surveys online and I might have stopped...
But then I would not have made the $9000+ I have made!

I've been here for 4 years and have never missed a cashout... most range between 40-60 but a few have been up to $125... nothing to retire on, but extra spending money which always helps

I love hearing your success story!  Your record is impressive.  I don't think I've ever reached over $30 for one month alone.  It just goes to show, where there's a will, there's a way.  (One of my grandmother's favorite sayings!)  Keep up the good work!

It's not so bad when you have the time to spare. I often find that it is a relaxing thing to do. I also look at it as the equivalent of saving every penny. Putting up spare change adds up more than one would think!!!  :)

Everything ads up here and there. Complaining about a 30 minute survey isn't really worth it. You will make money if you keep at it but if you dont try and fail you wont

I took ones that took 30 minutes and only got around a quarter. It is just mad money on here. No real money. :moneymouth:

Slow and steady. Patience and persistence. Rome was not built in a day nor will huge stashes of wealth. I generally participate, as I have for over eight years, during down time (which is a rare occurrence for me). I work a full time job during the day and thirty to forty hours at another job at night and on the weekends. The second job requires file downloads that can take five to ten minutes. It is during those down times that I visit Fusion cash. Money from both jobs goes to my family while the money from fusion cash is kept. I have been investing every cent made here and have accumulated an impressive portfolio as well as the confidence that comes with a little financial knowledge. I'll be fifty five in April and fully plan on doing this until I am seventy.

There is much wisdom in what Tresbn00 says in his post.  It just goes to show you that it is all in how you look at money.  "Time is money" has been my motto for as long as I can remember.  Working as a professional services are paid on an hourly billable rate, which usually goes up incrementally throughout one's career and may or may not include bonuses.  I would always seek something on the side because I am usually in a position to see dramatic economic change before it rolls out nationally (or globally).  If I'm out of luck I have a safety net (it might be freelance or entrepreneurial pursuits, but it's something).  Time is always moving forward; you don't make up for what you missed out on if you're not working in a down period.

This is def not a website where you can make it a full time job. There have been a lot of saturdays where I have worked on this site for six hours at a time and have made 20 cents.  But I don't have a very exciting life, so most saturdays find me on the couch in front of the tv anyway. Might as well have the laptop open while I've got the tv on. It took me three months and I haven't made 50$ yet. It does make me pretty bitter b/c a lot of people on here are cashing out at 100$/month or more. But I have to keep in mind that it's a way to make at least some money while sitting on my butt at home. I don't think of it as easy money because it takes so long to make, but it is a free chance to make side money, so i try to remember to stay grateful. Does get a little hard sometimes, but hey, we're human.

Persistence! Making money a penny or a dollar at a time is slow, but a sure thing, if you keep at it. You can't expect to get rich, but you CAN expect to get a few extra dollars of spending money. I've made well over a thousand dollars at FusionCash watching those small amounts add up.  I, too, would rather not have to spend thirty minutes to take a survey for only $1.00, but I do what it takes to cash out each month.

Not a quick money site its a side money site. Some surveys are high some are low in time you have to do for the money given but sometimes it can lead to bigger opportunitys to make some decent money

If I found a Quick Money site, what would I do the rest of the day?
