we are so gullible about public news.
it happens in our personal lives as well.
we come to quick conclusions, even though they are incorrect.

I am a lot more skeptical on the news that I hear, see and read now than when I was younger.
Have a wonderful day!

Nowadays unless I know something factual...it's all hearsay  to me. {don't believe everything you hear}

I am getting to where I don't believe anything I hear and only  30% of what I might see,  sometimes what we see is often wrong too.  Like when some one is  filming on a phone because they may have not picked up  part of what is causing the problem  or  part has been deleted. Crazy world anymore.

I'm the opposite no one has even been able to pull the wool over my eyes. I was taught the news always lies since I was a kid. that politicians always lie also. that helped me in life.

I have always been gullible. I don't know about with the news but other stuff for sure.

I'm like a lot of responders on this topic: I used to be WAY more gullible than I am now. I've seen a lot of deception (like most people have) over the years, and now I'm to the point where I realize there are honest people and there are out-and-out liars (individuals and businesses). At least we have the internet now to look up what we need to know about, rather than having to trust what individuals and businesses are trying to sell us. ;)

When I was in college I learned about checkbook journalism.  It seems just about anyone can create there own news anymore.  In fact did you know the original pictures of Clinton and Monica were caught on film - a photographer was using his old camera and ran out of film... he was asking other press photographers if he could bum a roll off of em.. most had already switched to digital... where photographs are deleted and easily altered.  He was going through his film when he recognized the two together early on in there relationship - Unless I hear it from the horses mouth I don't believe anything any more.
