What is your preference in Christmas trees? Artificial or Real??

Growing up we ALWAYS had a real tree, but now I prefer using an artificial tree.  What is your preference?

I would LOVE to have a real tree up, but  I have a fake tree because I like to put my tree up by Thanksgiving, because I love my house to look festive for when company comes over for dinner, a real tree would have no needles left by the time Christmas rolled around

Had a real tree the first year we got married and loved it but froze our butts off looking the perfect one.  After that it has been a artificial tree

I have a small artificial one now. If I had a family or a bunch of friends coming over i woud get a real one. There is just some magic you get out of a real one that you don't with a fake one.

We have had 47 real trees since we got married, but this year we have an artificial one about two feet high since we downsized. Now we get our Christmas Spirit watching Hallmark Movies together on TV.

I've had real trees and artificial trees.  The fun of selecting and putting up a real tree is great. The watering, cleaning up and hauling out, not so great.  I have an artificial one now and it works for me.

I love real trees. They make your house smell so good. There is just one problem, i can't help decorate it because it breaks my arms out bad. I'd say that I am allergic to them, but I don't care. My Husband and kids can decorate it.

I'm sorry. I can no longer deal with cleaning up all the pine needles after having a real tree. 

It will only be artificial from this point on.

I think I like real ones the best. I like both but there is nothing like a real one. I always like the smell of them when the are in the house.

We always had an artificial tree as kids, but this year mum wanted a real one. So it's the first real one in the family in over a generation!

I definitely prefer the artificial trees. Somehow, the actual Christmas trees are more of a pain to clean up after.

I would rather have an artificial tree.They are easier to set up and take down.Also,the tree I have this year is prelit,so it saved a lot of time decorating it.
