Do you send Christmas cards?
« on: December 09, 2017, 02:32:32 pm »
Happy Christmas Card Day! I haven't sent any this year. I do show them off when I get one even if the car dealer sends me one. My grandma had thousands every year. I did do this in the past. Maybe I will hand paint them again.

I use to send out cards but I don't anymore. I do give Christmas cards to my immediate family who spends Christmas day at my house.

No, I don't send Christmas cards out anymore. I still get a few, but most just send messages on facebook.

I still do, but man this year I am already behind , just seems like the time flies  faster and faster or I maybe as I age I get slower and slower. but  I am so busy anymore  I don't know where it goes. I  retired but just took on other activities  like volunteering at our  food and clothing bank,  handling problems with my stepfather,  cooking and baking for the charity, going to doctors, now we will be  picking up pecans  that are starting to fall. We had to wait for a freeze before they would fall. Of course we need to rake leaves and bag them.  Don't think I will take on any thing else for awhile.

I used to send out Christmas cards. I only send them to close friends and family now. I actually color my Christmas cards now. I would also rather pick up the phone and talk to someone then send them a Christmas card. :rainbow: :peace:  :santa:

I believe in sending them but I don't currently. My family all live in town and I'm about 10 min walking distance from my grandma. There's really no point for me. But my grandma still does as she has family out of state. Truthfully, I miss getting them.

Mostly to the grand-daughters with a lil money in them.

Occasionally, to a friend who does not have email.

Used to do it faithfully.  With computers, and cell phones, I do not do it much.

Years before the internet I did send them out.  Then life got busy and I stopped.  Now that I'm retired I plan on sending some out again, it's on my list of things to do today.   I always enjoy the ones I receive, it's nice to go to the mailbox and see a card instead of a bill.

I do... because I have extended family that live all over the country... some get gift cards & some just get glitter.   I still send out cards to most of my friends - friends I never see & only hear from via Christmas Cards...  a good way to keep in touch esp since I don't do Facebook.
