Someone got $18,000 from Bitcoin
« on: December 17, 2017, 09:14:00 am »
I meet a guy couple days ago whom told me his friend banked/ cash out $18,000 from Bitcoin!! He himself just got into it and invested $88 into something else which more than triple for him to over $300 now in a week time. I stared asking questions and found out a app that allows you to invest/ buy and sell. Still thinking about taking a risk?

I wish I understood bitcoin but to this point nobody has been able to explain it to me in a way I understand.  I won’t invest in  something I don’t understand.

invest your fusion cash  in scams and if you lose it you just do more surveys,if you get rich then no more surveys.

A few years ago, I heard Bitcoin was worth nothing, that they went bankrupt. So I was really surprised at what's going on with it now.  All i know is that some sites are allowing payment via Bitcoin but I don't think I'd go for it since it's a very unstable item.

That's what makes it so exciting, it's unstable in both directions (mostly up) so if you watch closely you can bag a nice profit in a short time.

All I know of Bitcoin is that it's a volatile investment.

As you might imagine, a discussion about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency has the potential to get VERY technical.  I am not technical nor do I fully understand how it all works.  That said, I don't understand how electricity works either, but I use electricity daily.  I have been involved with Bitcoin since May 2017.

In simple terminology, Bitcoin is currency that is digital rather than physical. It is decentralized, so transactions can take place using Bitcoin without the need for a bank, and without the need for a government and politicians to create and regulate the money.  Many businesses are accepting Bitcoin as method of payment.  More are coming on board all the time.

I am late to the game.   >:(  I didn't have any money to invest, but I put $25 earned from another site into Bitcoin in September and another $50 just two weeks ago, plus have been doing a few PTC sites that pay out in very small increments of Bitcoin.  I KNOW that this is small potatoes compared to some, but my $75-80 investment is currently worth about $220.

Had you put $100 into Bitcoin a year ago, it would've been worth about $2500 roughly one week ago!  (And that estimate may be low today since the value is pretty volatile day to day and I did that calculation a week ago). I recently blogged about it trying to offer a non-technical explanation.

Like jkhanson said, some of the finer technical points are too complicated to fully explain, and like oldbuddy said, the bottom can drop out of this - but with the humongous gains over the past 12 months alone and more widespread acceptance in the mainstream, it's a fun ride as long as you are only investing funds you can afford to lose if the bubble bursts!

I'll try my luck and put a few dollars into Bitcoin at the start of the year and see where it goes from there.  I know someone at work who's really into mining for it.

Investments: What works? What does not work?
I have seen many Bitcoin ads...but does it really work?
How can you invest little and make so much?
      Any comments?
