My favorite bad movie is Deep Rising. It's a very self-aware B style horror movie and it had plenty of action and fun lines. It was a good one.

"The Room", the acting (or lack of it) is hilarious

"Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" with Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino  Its mindless, idiotic, and absurd, but I laugh my a-- off everytime I watch it.

Agreed!!!! so stupid it's practically hilarious!

I absolutely love "Airplane" which is a pretty awful movie in terms of the usual criteria critics usually use for that, but it's just so hilarious, you laugh until you just can't laugh any more. All the sight gags, word puns and out and out just plain silliness keep you entertained the whole way through.

Airplane is a much better movie when you realize that it is a satire on the disaster movie genre. It is using the cliches and word play to poke fun at the tropes of the genre. Without knowing that, yeah it would be a bad movie.

After reading all the responses I have to agree that a movie that's "bad" would not really be a favorite.  I do get it.  I'm having a hard time thinking of movies that fit this category, but I know I've seen some.  Since Airplane has been mentioned I will pick it, too.  It's sooo bad with the gags and puns and dialogue that it IS good.  Great cast with Leslie Nielsen, Peter Graves, Robert Hays plus some cameos.  You have to wonder how they kept straight faces while delivering those lines!? :D

Guilty As Sin. I don't know why I like that movie other than I like lawyer movies. I just watched it the other day. I think Don Johnson is a good actor and I always liked him in different shows and movies.
