Favorite bad movie and why?
« on: December 20, 2017, 07:50:00 pm »
I mean really bad, like at least a C on IMDB. Mine is Gingersnaps. Absolutely love it!!! I can practically quote from it. I love that the misfits become the bad and good guys. Soooo awesome! And, of course, there are werewolves.

So many  I love that are just God awful and great at the same time: Howling 2 :your sister is a werewolf and Yor:Hunter from the future are my top 2 favs. Both have great soundtracks  and are very quotable and the scenes are incredible.

This is like an oxymoron!  How can you have a favorite "bad" movie?  If it's bad, why would you want to watch it?  I've started plenty of movies that were so bad, I didn't care to finish watching.  I walked out of a movie theater once because a movie was so bad. Maybe "soundtracks" would be an okay reason to watch, but I'd rather just find it somewhere and "listen."

"Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" with Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino  Its mindless, idiotic, and absurd, but I laugh my a-- off everytime I watch it.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Love that movie like crazy. And I guess it would be considered a "bad" movie by some critics.  :-\

I think it's in the eye of the beholder to judge.  :P

I think my favorite bad movie is Space *bleep*.  It was stupid but very funny in places.  It is suppose to be like Star Wars but really stupid.

Spaceballs is greatness but more of a spoof of sci fi(star Wars and Alien) than  made in a ridiculous way. The Scary Movie franchise is the same but for horror because it's all intentional.

I absolutely love "Airplane" which is a pretty awful movie in terms of the usual criteria critics usually use for that, but it's just so hilarious, you laugh until you just can't laugh any more. All the sight gags, word puns and out and out just plain silliness keep you entertained the whole way through.

Same here, it's definitely one of the best for sure. So is Airplane! Both are comedy at its finest!

I don't have a favorite bad movie. A movie that I think is bad, is one I would not want to watch.
