That sounds like a very unappealing work environment.  I hate conflict and I wouldn't want to work anywhere that this type of things are going on.

I have had that problem, I ignored it as long as I could, until day I had, had enough of it and told both of them to shut up.  They went to my boss and he told them he had been wanting to tell them both the same thing and let both of them go. Sure was nice afterwards.  Some of the other employees thanked me for standing up to them.  I also have a sister that is the same way. I try to ignore her too, but put up with a lot, the day my father passes is the day I will let her have it. She is driving my brother and I up the wall. But  father dotes on her and since my brother and I are the ones who do for him all the time we keep quite. Someday though.

I think we all have what you call annoying co workers.  Some will be your best friends at work and some get in your nerves .  The bottom line is that you dont have to take them home and leave them at work lol.

I think it is like that every place. When I think of all the jerks I worked with in my life time, I just am at a loss for words.  :BangHead: :BangHead:

My husband works with some truly stupid people.  And considering they're all sheriff deputies in the jail, it's downright dangerous.

I have had a lot of coworkers like that. They ruin your day and your workload.
I just avoid them. Time is too valuable to waste yours with so many crazy people.

I don't have any co workers like that however my daughter does. She is amazed at how her boss lets this go on. You think he would fire both of them. They constantly get into it. My daughter said it is so annoying.

The only name that fits. There are two women who work in my office area that are constantly arguing and fighting and telling on each other and talking about each other. That is unless they need to join forces to attack somebody else. They are about to drive everybody in the entire building crazy.

They talk nice to your face when you are there or when they need something from you and then when you aren't there they talk about you. I do not get why people act like this.

Apparently you cannot be fired for being a stupid trouble maker. I sure wish you could be though.

Anybody else work with completely insane co-workers?

Yep. i did. i flipped out one day at them and then turned in my resignation at the company even though I loved my job. i was so disappointed in them and others that were the same way that I just couldn't work for a company like that.

I worked from home after a short stint working in a hospital but had to leave because my mom needed constant care. The hospital was very understanding and asked if I would be able to work at home part time and I jumped on it, stayed there 10 years, and picked up more work as an independent for different hospitals at the same time and never looked back.

I would love to do something like that. But most people who say they "work from home" do surveys and call that their job. But they are also drawing a check off the government and THAT is what pays the bills. I do decent on sites like this but it is nothing close to a real job. I just cannot understand how adults can act like this.

I'm sorry that you have to be in such a toxic environment.  The sad truth about hatefulness is that it hurts the hateful one more than the object of the hate.  Letting go of anger and the desire to "get even" is the only option that offers some form of peace and contentment.  I also remember the words of Jesus when he said, "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God."

Idk. I don't think it hurts either of these two. lol

One of my aunts and her daughter were like that and they're both miserable. No reason to be that way as a person.

One of them looks miserable all the time. The other one must take some happy pills. haha.  She can be the biggest butt to one person and then turn around and be nice to somebody else.

Oh yeah - a bunch of that goes on at my job.  I work in one department 99% of the time.  On rare occasions I'm asked to help the department right next store.  I wasn't there for more than a 1/2 hour and one of em' is going on and on about another.  Kinda feels like walking into the high school locker room or girls bathroom hearing the he said she said junk.  Wish people would just worry bout themselves and do there jobs.

I described it as an episode of junior high mean girls lunch table. haha

I am retired/disabled now but I worked many years at several different places and never ever worked at one place that didn't have someone  like you described.  I never understood why people couldn't just come to work, do their job and let others be.  Well sorry you guys have to suffer through these two ignorant people.

That is me.  I want to go in, do my job, and go home.  And do my job and get it done, and go home. Not play around and ride the clock so I can get over time.
