I use Vicks also at night, helps some, also use a saline spray and  have to use it quite often, a lot of mine are allergies. And when it goes to dripping  down my throat I cough  it all the time. I wish there was something I could take. But with the meds I am on and my AFib I really have to watch what I take. Most  of the OTC'S are not allowed for me. Guess  it is just suffer.

Yes, I am constantly congested, but I try not to get too hooked on congestion medicine. I think if you get congested and take the congestion medicine for just a day or two, it should work really well for you, just long enough to do the trick but not long enough to become addicted to it.

I'm a big fan of nasal spray as apposed to the liquid or pill form. It seems to have less side effects on me and works a lot faster

Medicine doesn't seem to be doing my for my sinus issues and congestion. I guess it is time to stop delaying the inevitable and just go to the doctor already.

I use a CPAP machine every night and start with a steroid spray the doctor prescribed for me so I can get to sleep.

I have been congested all of this cold season and I've been to the Doctor and nothing he gives me even works.  :(

The medicine can also make sure it comes back!  The medicine is bad for you overall and that makes you more likely to have issues moving forward.  Vitamin C works great for getting rid of any sinus issues and, unlike the medicine, it has positive long lasting effects.

I have had a lot of problems with my sinus this winter.  It has been so cold outside.  I get so stuffy going in and out of heated buildings.
Have a wonderful day!

My nose gets very stuffy at night while I am trying to sleep. I usually have to take benydrel to help. My cool mist humidifier helps a little bit too.

I just got over having the Flu, fever, chills, body aches, chest congestion, sinus pain and pressure, wheezing everyday for seven days, woke up this morning, Jan.15th, and feeling better, still got a little cough, but no wheezing. Thank you Father God.

Zicam [a brand name made of natural ingredients] "extreme congestion relief" clears the congestion.
there still seems to be a process of a few days that we have to go through.

I am buying some eucalyptus oil to keep on hand all the time.
zinc lozenges will be kept in my cupboard in my house as well.

I must blow my nose 10 times in the morning.  I hate nasal congestion,,  I end up with headaches.  I've tried  humidifiers and I do drink plenty of water,,  it is the only thing I drink all day.  Orange juice sometimes,,  I don't like taking meds it makes me feel worse.  sometimes I will put a very hot wash cloth  on my head and it works to releave the pressure.

I've constantly had pressure headaches when there's a weather change. It gets into my sinus cavities too. A lot of times I have a stuffy nose to go with it.  >:( I take OTCs, have a humidifer, etc. For whatever reason, I've found that wriggling your jaw back and forth throughout the day somehow helps with the pressure.

     All these remedies are OK.
     Buy extra boxes of Kleenex...
     and Q-tips: Dry or wet...
     remove those annoying boogers
     to clear your nasal passages.
