For me, I love Vicks Vaporub.   I can open the jar and just smell it and it helps.

When I was a kid my mom used vicks vapor rub all the time.  Now that I'm an adult I still swear by it.  It still works.

I think becase of the Winter Storm that is hitting the city of Houston and the temperature dropping.
It is making my sinuses act up and now my nose is stop up and I have been drinking lots of liquids
and taking cough drops, but is not helping my nasal congestion. Iam feeling really sick right now .
I think I am going to lay down now and continue to doctor on myself so that I feel better.

I'm trying to get over a lot of nasal congestion now!  I read something online and have been drinking warm water with honey and lemon juice in it.  Its helped with congestion and sore throat.  But I think the best thing I've been doing is using an OTC generic brand of Flonase.  My nasal congestion got better the very first day I used it.  Give it a try and I think you'll be pleased with the results.

Also consider the following remedies:
- Chicken noodle soup
- Black tea with lemon and ginger
- elderberry syrup or juice
- exposure to steam in the shower
- blow your nose underwater
- AVOID exposure to low temperatures and strong winds

TLC from friends and family will help too.  But try not to pass the germs to them!

Yahoooooo, my friend survived the flu, really I thought I lost him. He got the flu shot, so we got the flu. I bought the Robintussin at $10.00 and the store brand at $3.99, for many weeks = $50.00 for 2 people. I had to be careful because I take the Tylenol and Ibuprofens. The choking and heart wow, I worked with him, not died. I could not do this naturally. I even use the inhaler that I feel its the only thing that got me well. Good luck for you if you get this flu.

My son has suffered with nasal congestion for so long this year that his nose will bleed. Nothing I suggest seems to help him. Any suggestions? ???
