No snow here. All we got was lots of sleet which makes a mess of yards and streets. Many places did not even open today because everyone was warned to stay off the streets. Many roads were closed.

We've not had school nor has my husband been at work for 4 days (1 Martin Luther King, Jr. birthday and 3 snow days). I live in Georgia, so a little snow causes a lot of things to close down (mostly schools and some workplaces). It's not really the snow that keeps us from getting places; it's the ice underneath the snow. Georgia is so humid that it easily forms ice under the snow, and that can, of course, be hazardous. The governor here has even declared a state of emergency over our snow! But I secretly hope that everyone goes back to school and work tomorrow! :-[

p.s. I love the picture of your cat! He looks similar to my cat! :cat:

We still have snow on the ground but doubt it'll last past today since temps are susposed to get in the 40's.  It sure has been beautiful; I think we got about 2 inches. I've not been out in it though my husband has.

I had to work. I did get off a little earlier though because we were pretty slow.

Yes, schools were closed and I had to use a sick day. Oh well. Better to be safe than sorry. :D

I didn't get out in the snow unless I had to.  My two year grandson went out to play in the snow.  He had fun throwing snowballs and playing but when he came back in the house he came running to me and I wrapped him in my blanket.

Here in Augusta, we had flurries, but nothing too drastic, it didn't stick, the sun came out later that day.
