Do you feed the squirrels?

We have squirrels here for the past a couple of years now, maybe people put the bb-shooters away. I don't remember seeing them in the past been here for a long time. I feed them peanuts and the squirrel mix from the stores. They get fluffy when I feed them and not raggedy I can say they smile at me. My son say they are rats! I searched on them they chase away or eat rats, mice and unfortunately birds. Well today is Squirrel Appreciation Day! Have a gr8 day!

We don't have squirrels here but if we did I'd probably feed them! I think they're cute.

Would sometimes leave walnuts. Haven't for awhile may do again. They are cute  I've not seen them around maybe the cats scare them away.

Not really, they would run away if we tried to get close. It's not prohibited in my area anyway.

I feed whatever animals need it(in my area it's squirrels,birds,cats,possums,skunks raccoons that are in the area) I have 2 birdbaths so they have water and ground containers,plus bird feeders and such. I occasionally buy bags of seed,cheap dog food,cat food and give them my scraps...Animals are well fed in my area.

We don't feed the squirrels per se, but we do have a bird feeder. The birds knock seeds off of the trough of the bird feeder and the squirrels get those goodies. I'm okay with that. They're creatures that need food just like the birds do. We have a stool perched right in front of the back door in the kitchen so our cat Tinker can look out the window at the birds and squirrels around the bird feeder. We call it Tinker TV!

Yes I feed the squirrels.  I get the food at Petco, have 2 bird baths so they can drink.  I also have 4 squirrel houses in 4 trees in my yard.  I love to see the baby squirrels stick their heads out waiting for mommy to bring them food.  Then they get older and venture out, with mommy watching, and before you know they are old enough to go out on their own.

I feed the birds but the squirrels eat most of the seeds.

Yes, we were feeding them Popcorn and Peanuts yesterday afternoon.  We found out that one of them was a picky eater and wouldn't eat the popcorn, so they were fighting over the peanuts, although they were surrounded by all that popcorn.- they were hilarious and very entertaining!

   I feed them fresh bread crumbs...and they love it!

I have so many squirrels in my yard because I have pecan trees, so they eat all the time.

No, I don't feed the squirrels. There are some running around, but never thought to feed them.
