Do you feed the squirrels?

Squirrels are rodents. They can get into your walls. Been there, done that.

They can also ruin your garden.

Not good to feed them.

I don't feed the squirrels.  The darn things eat in my dh's garden.  Ds used to trap them in humane traps and relocate them, but their population never seemed to wane.

No but they do sometimes come by and grab some bird seed, I dont really want them around as they try to get into the attic and cause damage

I don't feed them.  I don't have many in my area to begin with.

We had a huge walnut tree in our yard so there was never a need to feed them but they did like to get into the bird feeders

Unfortunately, I don't have squirrels or I would definitely feed them.   We feed the birds daily & keep fresh water & sugar in the hummingbird feeders.   I love them, they are fun to watch.

We have a whole colony of squirrels that hang around our bird feeders.  We feed them along with the birds, deer and rabblts.

I throw bread out for the birds but I see the squirrels haul it away lol

I don't think I would feed squirrels. They are responsible for feeding themselves. They are certainly better than rats, even though they belong to the rodent family. Have a nice day!

I haven't gone outside to give squirrels something to eat in my past, just to give them food. If I dropped a crumb of food and later they picked it up to eat it then they got that crumb!

Of course we do! And birds and chipmunks and raccoons and opossums and anyone else that comes by. Even rabbits! There's been a Siamese kitty that's come by the yard 3 or 4 times this month and just sat at the edge of the yard, but he/she runs if we try to get close. We always leave cat food out, though.

My Mom hates that squirrels steal food from the bird feeder and she keeps wasting time and money trying to find ways to keep them out, we tease her about it because some of the things she tries are crazy and the squirrels usually find a way around it lol.

I haven't fed the squirrels, since 7yrs ago, they ate a hole in my roof & any food I throw out, I dump under a tree, a form of meg shift compose pile. I let them, the birds, stray pets, & the bugs fight over it.

My husband used to call them tree rats.   I have a lot of squirrels  and pecan trees.   I also give them dry catfood sometimes.
