I have a vivid "smell memory" of when I was little and went to the hair dresser with my granny.  There was something they used that smelled so good.  I never knew what it was nor have I experienced that scent since but I still can vividly remember that sweet aroma.
Have a wonderful day!

Smell doesn't bring back my memories so much, but songs do. Whenever I hear songs I can remember clearly what I was doing the first time I heard the song.

Twice today people have brought up to me the correlation between smell and memory. I think (and this has been scientifically proven, if I'm not mistaken?) that smell is the most related to different memories. Personally speaking, I can agree with that. It's just like autumn, I instinctively think of the cool smell of the air, crisp leaves, pumpkin spice, etc. Interesting stuff!

The smell of an old vintage Holly Hobbie lunchbox always reminds me of sandwiches I used to pack for lunch during a school field trip.

I enjoy the smell of cut grass and also the freshness after a good rain.
