Well, I decided to try a Crowdflower Task and this is what happened

I had a dose of task reality this week as well.  I can usually recognize ahead of time the tasks for which I am likely not to have high accuracy.  The task I tried this week seemed pretty easy, and I just wanted to see how I would do, so instead of giving up, I completed the task, submitted and ended up with 20% accuracy.  So many of these tasks appear to be asking your opinion.  My question is, "why do they want opinions from other people if they already know what they want you to say?"

I haven’t tried tasks in a long time.  I used to try, always had a low score and could not get to level 1 so I quit.

Crowdflower and me never got along, its a shame too, I always wanted to get married.

I am Level 3 and I got there only because I am picky and Give Up a LOT. I can do a quick scan and see if there are any I have had success with and skip the rest. Lately it's been so easy to get the 5 cents with other things, I hardly try tasks.

I am so grateful for the OP. I attempted my first cloudflower task just a few days ago. It too was on background noises. I received a score of 55% wrong. I was devastated because I am on some drugs that help me stay in remission from breast cancer. When I was rejected [and it felt as though they were almost accusing me of cheating] I thought that it must be that my brain function is even more impaired by treatments than I had originally thought.

I feel assured that though my brains'functioning has been impaired, it is not nearly as impaired as I thought after being rejected on the task.

That is why I don't do tasks. They either don't pay or not very well. I wished some of this stuff was much more worth it.

I never bother with tasks. I'd rather watch videos or take a survey. They just don't seem worth it to me.

I was thinking about trying Crowdflower again but after reading your post I think I'll skip it for now.

I tried a crowd flower task once. I did terrible and haven't done one since

This task was very odd.  You could barely here the voices. The clips are 1-5 seconds long.'

Your accuracy is too low.

I been stopped doing those Crowdflower task, they always tell me the exact same thing, no matter how I try.
