That is entirely up to you. Personally I don't find it difficult at all, if I show up and try every day. It's not just me either, this forum is full of people that have been doing the same thing for years.

Even given what others have said before me... it'd be tough to do $100 per month on FC. I make that per month on other sites, but FC has been running a bit dry lately. 
Are you on other sites as well? If you want to make that kind of money... the old term applies, diversify!
My average cash outs for the last 3 months is $520 per month... but I'm on dozens and dozens of sites.

While some do make as much as you want, it is rare, and usually those are with referrals and a desirable demographic, and TONS of work.

Even then, it is impossible for anyone to give you a guarantee of what you can and cannot make.

If I were you, I would focus on doing surveys, learning how to use the site, and THEN worry about how to improve what you earn.

Otherwise, you are going to set unrealistic goals and get discouraged.

It is difficult for me to say how much I am making on my assorted survey sites, including this one, but it does make a HUGE positive difference in my quality of life.

I am retired on a low and fixed income. I am, if not too old, definitely too disabled to get a regular job with an hourly wage. I wanted to make my own soap, for myself and for others, but could not afford the supplies, not without money I make from surveys. I am also making my own cheese, raising my own chickens [for eggs, which I can sell, and because I love my sweet girls] being able to have the supplies to have a vegetable garden, AND canning jars and a dehydrator and pressure canner, ALL because of survey sites.

I no longer live in fear of not being able to come up with money to buy a loved one a gift, because I always keep a decent amount of cash in my Amazon account that I can tap into as much as I would like. And how did I get surplus cash in my Amazon account? Doing surveys.

My life is actually pretty awesome and I love where I live and who I live with, way in the "boonies." Sometimes, though, I need just a bit more interaction with other people than I am currently receiving, and communities such as this one fill that void.

I will never get financially rich from these sites, but they definitely make my life richer in many ways.

It sounds like you have a good plan and realistic expectations!
