It was twins LOL
« on: February 14, 2018, 07:19:37 am »
I made myself a fried egg this morning and it had two yolks.  I like the yolk the best so that was a special valentine's day treat for me.  I have had a double yolked egg before but it has been a long time.   Yummy it was good.  Have you had a double yolked egg before or recently?  And yes it takes very little to amuse me.  HAHAHAHA

Actually I have, though I actually haven't found it tasting different than a single yoke.  There's just more of it.

LOL! I think I may have gotten one of those like once in my whole life! If I did get one, I'd consider it a sign of luck, and go out and grab a lottery ticket!

I frequently get double yolks with Walmarts Jumbo sized eggs... often multiple eggs in the same pack have the double.
Always a bonus, I love fried eggs :)

When  I was living on the farm we often had double yolks from the chickens,  When my youngest was 5  I felt he was old enough  to gather the eggs from the chickens.  He did great until he went to  one of my sitting  hens and  her eggs were just hatching and he then saw where baby chicks come from. Oh my gosh he  was really upset. Came in and told me  he was never eating another egg, because now he knew where  the baby chicks came from. It took about 2 years of fibbing to him before he was ready to eat an egg. I mean he even questioned  me about my baking wanting to know if I was using eggs.

Haven't had double yolk in years maybe once if life. Eat one egg everyday.  If it's a cold day will have oatmeal, but love those eggs.
