Not really...I cant seem to get into basketball of any kind.  Love pretty much all other sports but basketball just doesn't do it for me.

I am looking forward to another good post season for the Celtics. They have as good a shot as any to get there from the East and anything can happen. Have had two tremendous showings against the Rockets this year and split the season series.  They also split with Golden State. Not sure how a seven game series against either team would go, but it would be entertaining either way...

I used to be obsessively fanatic about the NBA and the finals were my first priority.  Now I don't care as much.  Since Charles Barkley retired, it just hasn't been the same.

I like college basketball because there are more teams that can actually win. In the NBA you probably only have 3/4 = Golden State, Houston, Cleveland, Boston

I'm still trying to catch my breath over the fantastic Eagles' Super Bowl Victory!  Now it's time to buckle up for NBA finals.

The Sixers have improved but unless they get Dr. J out of retirement, it's really hard to see how far they will actually go this year.  If they keep a consistent chemistry in the years to come, they might be a team to watch.

That's true.  March Madness is so exciting.  I was thrilled when Villanova won the championship a couple of years ago.  The end of that game was so heart thumping that a local newspaper changed their name to Thrillanova.  That was fitting if you ask me.

Are those getting close?  I honestly don't know.  All I know...is BASEBALL season is here!  I'm a Phillies fan, so I will pull for your Sixers.

Not at all. The sport has become too self centered and football/baseball are falling within the same realm. The players are over paid and grandstanding their personal beliefs. If I cared about what they thought I would watch them on talk shows. I used to watch sports because I was a fan of athleticism. Egomaniacs touting their beliefs have reduced viewership and, ultimately, commercial revenue. The few that do this have killed the root of income for all concerned: owners and athletes who care about the game. I watched Match Madness and the Frozen four-where athletes still care about their respective sports. I may start watching more hockey because I have not heard about actions being displayed for causes. If they want to support a cause, have them pay for commercial time.
