Stupid ppl using guns

Here's a nice lil article about someone who won the Darwin Award and got off to easily imo.
Monalisa Perez, , fatally shot her boyfriend with a high-powered handgun in a video stunt the couple hoped would go viral
A judge in the US state of Minnesota sentenced a YouTube prankster to six months in prison Wednesday for fatally shooting her boyfriend in a botched video stunt they hoped would go viral.
Monalisa Perez, a 20-year-old mother of two children, believed her boyfriend Pedro Ruiz would be shielded by a thick book as she shot him at close range last June in front of onlookers.

Ruiz, 22, died at the scene.

Another one  who is stupid, of course this woman was not taught  how to respect a gun and know the damage it can do. Now they watch all of these stupid  shows on TV and think what they see is correct, when  really  it is all stunts.  I was raised around  guns and knew the same age it could  do, my children were also raised the same way. A gun is for hunting and  used right for our safety. And we never shot any one nor did we or the children ever handle one that was not correct.

That is truly amazing.  I feel sorry for her in a way cuz she has to live with that for the rest of her life and I'm sure it will mess with her head.  But I would think 6 months in jail is not too comforting to her boyfriend's parents who just lost their child due to stupidity.
