I saw this video yesterday. Horrible!! He entered a plea deal. I hope she's not still with him.

I do not understand why men and yes some women feel that they have to beat women or  men. One of my ex's thought he had the right to beat the he** out of me a few times. But I had the right to leave and I darn well did. No man has that right and I wish more women would get out when the  old man starts the beatings. I  volunteered for  the battered women's  for a long time. I would pick up the women that had been beaten and haul them to a safe house. Sometimes they would so beaten they could hardly walk. Makes a person sick to see this. second worse  to a child being abused.

I don’t understand why men beat a woman, but I honestly don’t understand why they stay.  When my husband and I were dating (many years ago) we had a major fight.  I honestly don’t remember what it was about but I could tell it was going to turn physical.  I calmly said if you are going to hit me, just remember it will be the first and last time you ever do that.  I am no mans punching bag.  He did not raise his hands to me then, nor has he ever since.  Had he done that, I swear I would have left and if he would now, I’m gone.  Sure we have had fights since, but I never have to worry about that.  I did work with a woman who didn’t leave,  she would come to work with tons of makeup trying to cover black and blue marks.  This went on for years, until she retired and I lost touch with her, but I assume it’s still going on.
