Well the old saying of if it sounds to good to be true then you know it is not true. We have had some and I just took them over to the chief of police, he said it is so rampant  and they are mostly from countries about al that can be done is advise every one to  shred them or burn them because  you don't want some one to get hold of them and then try to use your name to collect. It is so sad that so many get burned by them. That and the scammers on the phone.

 I contacted the Fbi and post office separately and filled out 2 reports and that's enough,check and letter are filed away until they contact me.Would rather shred everything but evidence you know.
