I like to grow flowers, but last year rabbits ate my flowers while I  was on vacation, so I don't know what I will plant this year.

We are just doing salad type things for the garden this year.  No beans are potatoes.

We try to grow everything it seems.  My mother was a huge gardener, so my sister and I still try to maintain that even now.  We go to a greenhouse for work and while we are there we get pepper starters or herb starters.

One of these days I hope to be able to take care of plants because I'm horrible at it.  I would personally love to have a mini greenhouse essentially for stuff like tomatoes, peppers or herbs just so I don't need to go to the grocery store for things.  I doubt it will happen any time soon, but it's one of those dreams I have.

We had one brief window of opportunity in early February when the ground was dry enough to plant a few cold weather crops' seed.  I planted radishes, lettuce, Swiss chard, onions and Broccoli Raab.  They have all made it through the frosts and cold snaps and are thriving.  We've had one meal from the Broccoli Raab, and the radishes are big enough to eat!  Last week I planted Pak Choi, Cauliflower, beets and mustard greens.  Warm weather crops will come later.  Our blueberry bushes on the patio were filled with blooms and with each frost we've covered them to try to protect the berries.  So far, so good!

My dear son made me a raised bed garden.  Soooo much easier to plant, weed etc.

Broccoli, snow peas, Garden of Eden green beans, zucchini, parsley, celery, basil, oregano, mint, tomatoes, and a few flowers.

Luv it.

It isn't warming up where I live yet so nothing is in the garden currently. At least nothing that isn't a perennial plant. Not sure what will go into the garden this year.

Tomatoes, zucchini and yellow squash, once it warms up a bit.  Right now, the only thing growing is one wild onion.  :)

I don't have a garden, when we were little we had a vegetable garden every year, so I told myself I wouldn't have one.

Herbs on my patio, and the tulips and lazy eyed Susans in the front.

It's been so cold in Illinois, I can't wait to plant outside again.

We are growing tomatoes, zucchini, green beans, snow peas. green peppers, hot peppers, strawberries and lots of herbs.  We are already getting tomatoes, green peppers and strawberries from some of last year's plants.

I am taking a break, so will just have  a few things to water plus the lawn. It is cheaper for me to go to the farmers market then it is to grow veggies any more. Since I help my sister-in-law  with her  items and get everything free anyway why grow it.
