I always wanted a garden but have not been able to have one because I live in an apartment. I try to grow plants in a pot but they always die. If I had a garden I would grow tomatoes, peppers and fresh herbs.

Nothing yet just started to warm up. Usually plant around Mother's day maybe earlier this year if it stays warm this week.  But there will be lettuce, tomatoes, different types of peppers, cucumbers, and green beans.  Plus I plant flowers in my outdoor pots

I'm more of a flower person. Not a big vegetable eater here. I have some roses and tulips that are blooming in front of my house. I think they look gorgeous!!

We have a big, vacant lot behind our house that would be perfect for a garden except for one thing: deer.  We love watching the deer graze and sometimes even play so we opted not to try a garden.  We have however planted tomato plants and some pepper plants in 5 gal. buckets in our yard with netting to keep the birds from eating or destroying the tomatoes like they did last year.  Hopefully they'll do well as we love fresh veggies.

My son made me a raised garden bed, and boy it helps.

Right now, only Forget-me-knots and lil purple iris growing,

But I grow lots of herbs, veggies, and will plant snow peas in about 10 days.

Wisconsin is not ready for growing hot weather crops yet.

I am glad it is is gradual, as it comes in layers, finishes up in layers. Makes it easier on me, and stretches it out.

I grow vegetables in containers on my patio and just put out bush beans last week and one tomato plant.  I'm trying peas for the first time this year.  Everything has started to peek out so I'm on my way to some veggies hopefully.  I also have two marigolds which I get every year.

I started seeds indoors in February this year including tomatoes, green peppers, impatiens, and zinnias. They are outside "hardening" now in advance of planting. I accidentally fried the impatiens though by putting them in a sunny spot and forgetting about it. It was too much for the little seedlings. I have the others in a shady spot to harden.

we're not doing a vegetable garden this year...we are doing flowers..replacing some of my annuals with perrenials...spending a lot of money on ones that die in a few months...we redone our patio and planting some roses and azaleas around it..along with some hydrangeas and crape myrtles..we have loads of crape myrtles around our yard
