Technically - EVERY day is Earth Day but are you doing something in particular to honor it?

Well my grade school aged teacher came up with a unique way for the kids to celebrate earth day.  She told the kids they were going to watch a movie and could bring snacks.  However if the snacks weren't in a reusable container they couldn't bring it to the movie party.  Some kids brought bottled water and had to leave it in there lockers... Personally I've used bottled water bottles more than once so I didn't think that was fair.

Nope.  We should be eco conscious every day.

Well I didn't know it was Earth day but I did plant some flowers and a few vegetables.

We took a walk on the beach and picked up some trash, I think every little bit helps.

I see earth day as a day to recycle things and make the environment better.  Maybe help someone in some kind of way to make a better life.

I turned the compost pile and fed the worms.  Worms make dirt, so that's a good thing for Earth day, huh?  :)
