I would rather for my child to be home with me

Not everyone has that option.  Some people have to work and day care is their only option.  I am sure every one would rather sit at home and be with their child all day.  But for most people that just is not the way it is.

Yes, I do feel comfortable leaving my children with a male teacher.  I am not going to blame an entire race on a few bad ones....

Whether someone is male or female has nothing at all to do with race.  Gender isn't a race.

People who work with children are supposed to have extensive background checks.  However, I think that there are issues with both males and females.  It just depends on the person.  Look how many females in high schools have been found carrying on with students in the past years.  It's not a gender issue, it's a morals, values, and boundaries issue.

I assume you mean "female teachers"?  Male teachers do the same thing.  Especially when you have younger teachers who are in their early 20's and they are only 4-5 years older than the students.  I do believe it is wrong but 99% of the time the student makes a conscience choice to go out with the teachers.  They are not forced or tricked in to anything.

I would research the center and all the teachers before even considering it at all, but I wouldn't hold the fact that a man was a teacher come into consideration.

i honestly think men pay more attention and i woudl not ahve an issue. i would perfer men and women for day car sice there are both girls and boys.
