Cooking at home or fast food
« on: April 27, 2018, 05:18:52 pm »
Lately I've been eating fast food, taco bell, KFC, wendy's, red lobster. which do you do the most? Do you have time to cook a meal? A simple meal?

Hello! :D :)

When I was struggling to pay my bills I only ate home cooked food and now that I got the second job I'm still eating home-cooked meals. It just simply cheaper and better. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

There's nothing like a home cooked meal. I prefer to stay at home and make my own food. It's nice to get out every now and then and splurge a little, but it's a rarity.

We save going out to eat nights for special occasions. I have read that going out correlates with gaining weight and I know that it costs more money to eat out. These are two things that I try to avoid. Eating at home allows us better family/social time-even if it is just my wife and I. We are able to catch up on what each of us has been doing during the week, alert each other to upcoming events, and share conversations that we have had with our children (both are in college). We also encourage each other to eat healthier as well, Tonight will be different. We have both been craving hamburgers so we picked up some angus from Costco and I will grill hamburgers as soon as I ma done working today. Our two dogs will share a hamburger as well. Just us and our furry kids!

I think that I prefer to eat at home because it is more economical for us.

I prefer to eat at home. Eating out can get expensive.

I have the time but not the strength energy or inspiration.  My son makes breakfast most days and he brings food home from his job at an assisted living facility most nights and although I don't care for the food really it saves money and beats having to clean up the kitchen.

I eat a home cooked meal more often. Fast food is fine to eat now and then.

We cook at home most of the time, but not to much fast food.

Living alone I don't feel like cooking much in the way of meals.  It is an occasional thing.  Cooking anymore means a grilled cheese sandwich or the like.  I alternate between simple food from home and eating out, usually taking advantage of a coupon, if I can!
