Sunscreen
« on: May 07, 2018, 05:14:04 am »
Today, Monday, May 7, is Melanoma Monday.  Do you use sunscreen?  If so, how often?  What do you consider enough SPF?  If you don't wear sunscreen, why not?

Myself, I wear it anytime that I know ahead of time that I will be outside a lot.  That includes whether it is sunny or not.  Clouds don't stop those dangerous rays.   Truthfully, I don't spend large amounts of time outdoors usually but I need to remind myself to wear it anytime I will be out.

I don't wear sunscreen, for one, I don't like being outside when it's really hot, I don't care too much for Summer, I'm a winter person, this weekend here in GA., its suppose to get over 100 degrees, I will not be going outside Saturday. Me and my daughter don't like the heat.

I'm not an outdoors person, but do water aerobics every morning and use sunscreen when I go there.  Usually just on my face.  It is too difficult to get it all over my back and exposed areas.

:fish: :moon: :fish: I do apply sunscreen when I spend more time than usual outside, when the sun is blazing. It's a good idea so that the skin doesn't get burned. Plus it makes for a nice tan!!!!!!  :fish: :moon: :fish:

I wear sunscreen when it is needed, especially in the weather and the beach. The hot summer won't be good on your skin.

Yes, I wear sunscreen. My dad has melanoma and has had to have chunks taken out of his face and neck. No thank you.

I run a lot, so I spend a lot of time outside. Not worth it, sunscreen is inexpensive and hopefully it will prevent me from getting skin cancer.

I tend to use it only when I go out and often as well during the time cycle.

No, I don't wear sunscreen. It is something I should do more regularly though.
