Grand Marais, Minnesota
« on: May 08, 2018, 06:41:08 am »
Thanks for this suggestion - I've researched a bit and it's made it to the list of possibilities.  Other than traveling to Niagara the idea of traveling North never appealed to me much.  I've shared it with my husband and his interest has peaked too! Seems a nice B&B is there and there is plenty for us to do on the way there as well as venture other parts of Minnesota. Tonight I'll be looking at another suggestion from my original post!

There are allot of cool places in Minnesota, and its a very clean state, never see trash on the roads.  If you go to Grand Marais, Minnesota  be sure to go to the  http://naniboujou.com/    you might even think of staying here

The trip from Duluth Mn to Grand Marais  is a wonderful adventure in its self. Light Houses and waterfalls , the whole trip and tons of state parks with hiking trails.

Thank you for the suggestions.  When I typed directions into Bing maps I clicked on places to see along the way and came across what your speaking of in Deluth; lighthouse/waterfalls etc.  You can even stay in lighthouse.  I think that would be neat but husband didn't seem to keen on that idea.
