Contacts VS Glasses
« on: May 10, 2018, 05:50:22 pm »
I prefer glasses because it's easy to put on eye glasses versus contacts you have to worry about taking them out before bedtime and cleaning them well so bacteria won't get into them. Glasses..you have to constantly wipe the lenses, when it rains..wipe wipe wipe.

I loved wearing contacts when I was younger but my eyes are more sensitive to lighting now and have a harder with them now.  So I wear my glasses much more and only use my contacts once or twice a week so my stay adjusted to them.  Also I wear the dailies so there is less likely to be in a infection

I have glasses...never wore contacts (don't think I could put them in anyway).  I need glasses just for distance so I take them off to read and stuff.  How do you take out contacts in a store to read a label  ???

That's the problem I had. I'm near sighted, but when I wear contacts to see far, I can't see up close. So what's the point?

I can't wear my glasses either, because the pressure gives me a headache. So I just struggle without.

I used to wear contacts, but I'm not as vain as I used to be.  And l generally like the look of people in glasses.

I tried to wear contacts years ago.  Just couldn't do it.  Don't like putting things in my eyes.  I'll stick with my glasses.

I don't have either but seems like I should have these eyes checked. Sometimes I get blurry vision but I just attribute it to eye strain from doing so many surveys..lol

I have glasses but would love to get contacts. No more weird tan lines on my face!

My brother had one of his contacts roll to the back of his eye.  I remember him freaking out over it - understandably so.  I was very young at the time and from that point on, I promised myself that I would never use contacts.  I use readers and I'm just fine with that.

I used to wear contacts, but now I prefer glasses. Glasses are easier to deal with.

I use to wear contacts and wore them for many years and loved them.  Then my eyesight changed as I got older and I had to wear reading glasses over the contacts, so I just started wearing glasses.
