I usually talk to my girlfriend or I listen to a lot of really great music. Sometime I will go out for a walk.

I exercise.
I've used that as a coping skill to alleviate my stress since college days.  It has worked quite well all through my life.  & when I stop for whatever reason, I can sure feel the difference in perception & in my muscles.

I like a good brisk walk and about 20 minutes or so of in depth Bible reading.  I think I got that backwards.  First things first : Prayerful, meaningful Bible reading, a good brisk walk and then I finish it off with quality time with my husband and our loving pets.   :)

My preferred method is going for a run or  long walk.  If that does not walk then I yell at whoever is closest

Don’t yell at others just because of stress! It’s not their responsibility to control your stress. Nobody is immune to the feeling. We all have to live as independently as possible, and independence can mean stress because of major responsibilities!

I like that one above said avoid stressful situations.  That is interesting.  How do you avoid stressful situations?  Life is always throwing something at us one way or another.  But, I will get into a good novel, a video game, or do some online work.  I used to bake and play in the kitchen when I was stressed out, but that was really unhealthy and I got away from doing that.

Dealing with stress is the best way.

Try and be just a teeny bit more specific on your answer.

It's kind of like you just rephrased the question there.

I run. Even though I have a pretty demanding job and a nasty commute, I really don't get super stressed out. I maintain a fairly healthy lifestyle and running 4-5 days a week makes me feel great.

Having lupus I deal with a large amount of anxiety that comes from stress usually when I'm at a bad point I usually go lay down and relax and I have a bead pillow that I used to squeeze and it helps me release the anxiety and relax it's hard to explain but it works for me and that's what's important
