Noel Neil,the woman that played Lois Lane on the TV Superman had just passed in 2016 as well.She was 96 i think.

Oh no! I love Margot Kidder. I watched one of her early movies about two crazy sisters, but, I love her best in Superman and Amityville.

My favorite line from Superman is when he catches her in the air, and says "I've got you," and she says "Who's got you?"

Margot Kidder was THE Lois Lane for an entire generation. She was equally adept at both Comedy & Drama. Very underrated actress. She'll be sorely missed.

                                                     Compared to Amy Adams  she was "lois Lame" but as good as Julia Louis Dreyfus on  SNL as Lois(what's that say ?)

Amy Adams was good, but she admitted that she was a fan of the original films, so she basically patterned her Lois after Kidder.

Kidder played Lois on SNL too.

I really enjoyed her in the Superman movies but hadn't seen much of her on the screen since.  I have the Superman series and I'm thinking about watching them again.  RIP Margot Kidder!

I was actually sad when I found out and my condolences do go to her family and friends though to be honest I never found her really all that pretty to be Lois Lane, especially against Christopher Reeves and which they would have picked a prettier girl to play the role.
