Would you spend a year doing a survey ?

I would spend a year doing surveys if all surveys are guaranteed to be a completion and I get paid for each one.

                                                                                                                                                            unfortunately no guarantees in hypothetical surveys or real that you'll complete it w/o dq. I would need a dq of 100 dollars guaranteed if I could be dq'd om day 365 though.

I would only spend a year if they guaranteed about 1000 dollars.  I would take all my time doing all year.

I would do it if I got the 1000.00 credited to my account right away with the agreement that it would be taken back if I don't complete the 1 year term. Of course you wouldn't be able to cash it out but at least you could see evidence of it every time you signed on FC   :)he longest one I have done so far is 3 months and it turned out well. I got paid for the initial survey then got amazon gift cards for all the points I accumulated during that term. It was fun!

No.  Even if it was a once a month log in.  I always opt out of those.  I prefer a survey that is once and done.

The only way I would participate in one survey for a year with a "potential" of payout would be if it were one of the try-it-at home product surveys that might send me a product a month or something like that.  In that, I would feel like I benefited from the use of the product and at least they got my opinion if it was a bad product.  I would feel in that scenario even if I dq'ed I wasn't completely at a loss. 
Or, you could think of it like this, there are many survey sites/reward sites/ PTC sites out there and they require you to bank a certain amount of points to build to the cashout you desire just like here.  OK, that would be the same as working the site until you are just shy of the big cashout you are working for and the site going under.  It has happened. 
So, in hindsight, would I take the gamble?  I guess we all are if we are banking points on rewards sites with that trust for later use.

No way, if it did take a year to disqualify me I must be guaranteed at least half the pay out or something. This is why surveys are becoming my least favorite way to earn.
