Thank you for the wishes and the post! We are supposed to have beautiful weather, in Colorado, all three days. My family is up in the mountains hiking and I am blessed with a paid day off from one job so that I can put in more hours at my other. Aiming for forty two hours of work this weekend, catching a movie tomorrow and going to a graduation party on Monday. Even though I have a day off from one job I will need to work extra hours in order to cover the month end work load. The only time I truly get vacation/holiday time is if I take off five or more days in a row at which time my work quota is decreased. In addition to five holidays off I have eight weeks of vacation time to use. I can only carry two weeks over per year.

Not sure why people say HAPPY Memorial Day? This is not a Happy day. It is a sad and somber day. It is a day to remember the soldiers who have given the ultimate sacrifice. Men and women who died for our country and to give us the freedoms we have today.
