Morning person or night owl?
« on: May 31, 2018, 04:49:56 am »
Are you a morning person or a night owl? I have never ever been a morning person.  It makes me physically sick seriously to get up early.  I am 64 and I don't think my internal clock will ever change at this point   :o :o :o :o

I'm a morning person. I like to get up and get moving.

I used to be a night owl, never a morning person. Now the older I get, the earlier I go to bed. I guess I'm neither one.

Definitely a morning person but forced to be an all day person by virtue of working sixteen to twenty hours days. My capacity begins to show diminishing returns at hours nineteen and twenty. I took a vacation day from my day time job, today, in order to put in a huge day at my night time job which is more production based. My close out is on Saturday and the pay check will arrive on the day that my wife and daughter go on vacation. I may take tomorrow, and Monday, to do the same. I have eight weeks of vacation of which  only two weeks may be carried into 2019. I will aim to visit my parents who's lives are beginning to wane annd December is usually a heavy month at my second job so I may take that month off to pocket some additional cash.

I can do both, since I don't sleep late in the mornings, if I stay in bed after 7 a.m. I would get a headache, but I go to bed any time after 10 p.m.

I usually feel ill if I wake up really early via alarm or something, if I wake up naturally that can be okay but it doesn't happen too often. I am much more of a night person though.

I am a day person; a night owl if tv is good, morning person if I have to work only.

I was a night owl as a kid , then i started to enjoy more things you had to get up early to do , like fish, hunt and live on a farm !  Can't sit on your hiney or sleep in on a farm with 200 head of cattle , who want to eat.  And you're not starting to cut hay when you get  you're lazy butt out of bed at  9am your up when its just getting light out ! I turned morning person and allot has to do with the amount of light that passes threw you eyes.  I sleep near open windows and the day light comes in and i never shut my curtains , and have the day light bulbs in all my lamps and it works , once woke at 8am now i'm up at 5:30 with or with out a alarm.  And fishing is better in the mornings and you need to be in a tree stand before it gets light .  Life is too short to sleep all beautiful morning !! The early birds get the worms as they say !  8) :angel11: :silly: :rose: :glasses-nerdy: ;)

My Mom said I was a night owl as a baby and I never changed! I used to work early A.M. for 36 years and I was always there at the last minute. I was thrilled when they invented the snooze button!
