What is something that you refuse to buy at a yard sale?

They have underwear! I won't buy an item if it's cost is close to the stores, or you feel everyone stuff seem like gold.

Just about anything but tools. I spend a large portion of my free time purging our house of all the garbage that a wife and two kids can not live without even if they have not used it in twenty years. Our neighborhood generally has two massive yard sales per year. My wife and kids will sell a fe items and then end up buying a dozen to replace them. One step forward, two steps back, I am quite the minimalist and choose freedom from possessions owning me by consuming all of my time in taking care of them. If I am not going out with the family I typically dress like a hobo. It is kind of nice because able bodied beggars won't wast their time asking me for things. Recently I have been purging the household books on e-bay. Certain mementos are allowed to stay but they take up very little room.

I have been doing almost the same thing, before anything comes in something else has got to go.  In the past couple of years I have had the task of cleaning out  deceased relative/friends homes.  I am hoping to spare someone else to much of that with my stuff.     Would not buy underwear or bathing suits at a yard sale.

Yard sales are fun to go to but tempting.l  I already have too much stuff and don't need more.  I would never have a yard sale - too much work for what you get out of it.l  :-\

I rarely ever go to yard sales. Not sure what I wouldn't buy until I saw it. I think price would have something to do with most items.

I never shop at yard sales as I am always the one in the house trying to get rid of stuff.  I could make a fortunate if my husband ever sold anything in the garage.  What a pack rat!

I had a great yard sale recently for moving.  I was able to sell so much stuff and made the move so much better.  Also a good way to get rid of bunch junk.

I wouldn't buy clothes, shoes or pay for something i could get the same price at a store. I love going to yard sales but rarely buy anything.
