Sometimes, I will lash out at my Husband or Kids, but The Lord said to hold your tongue and Love one another and that is what I am working on. I Love My Father in Heaven unconditionally. :angel11:

I'm not around people that much, so i'm lucky .. i other wise spend my time if i'm mad playing with my dog, and that calms me down.

I usually don't say a thing to the person or at least very little and then vent to my husband for hours. LOL  I feel bad he has to listen sometimes but it works for me.

I like James 1:20. "The wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God."

I and my sig o have terrible tempers, mostly with each other. We're workin' on it.

I try never to say or do anything when I am angry but to think first before I act or speak.

I always try and take walks or talk things out. It is never easy. Right now I am mad about something so I decided to write some posts to keep my mind off of it. :-X

Pills are certainly not the answer for this sort of thing.  People just have to realize that we are in control of our mind.  Someone can't upset us, but we can let them upset us.  I'm not saying it's easy to keep control of your emotions all of the time, but once you start believing what I am saying here, life will become so much easier.

I usually go into another room by myself .... I don't want to say anything I might regret later :)

My coping skill is to exercise... I embraced that way when I first started college.  I can tell when I haven't exercised in a while because I start being bothered by things that I just need to let go... like ruminate the thoughts over & over.  At those points I go out & walk or run or something.

I don't have a temper & rarely get angry... Exercise as a coping skill works wonders.

Smart ... and meditation helps too .... :)

Prayer, meditation, and St. John's wort.

I think I handle my temper really well for the most part, but when I get stressed out and feel like I am losing control of how I want things to go, I just pray and pray until I feel calm or I exercise to burn off some energy.
