I did research on IsaGenix for months.  Hmmm'd and Hawed over trying it for over a year.  I saw so many friends transform I thought heck I'll give it a shot.  I literally looked up each ingredient on the isalean shake to find out what it does and what the benefits are.  And I've learned a ton about how we loose nutrients that we should be getting from our soil.  I eat regular food.  If fact I eat really good food and often... whenever I'm hungry. And sometimes not so good.  Here's an example of what my days have been like since joining.  I used to get up and drink 2 or 3 cups of coffee while doing FC and other sites.  Then I'd eat a bowl of oatmeal and head to work.  Last night my husband and I went for a 5 mile bike ride (part of which is up a steep hill) And weeeee going down it is so much fun.  I was up until midnight.. he and I just chatting away (before Isa I was in bed by 10:00) I get up naturally with no alarm.  Drink 18 oz of water with a vitamin they all acccelerator.  I have a cup of coffee with cream and isa supreme) Then I drink a shake.  I packed my lunch.  Rode my bike to work (I'm a cake decorator in a Kroger store) 10:30 started shift.  12:30 got hungry took a break.  Ate a hard boiled egg and drank water.  Worked until 2:30 got hungry.  Ate bout' 2/3's cup of rice with sliced red bell pepper and havarti cheese. Drank another shake and more water.  Took another accelerator. Went back to work.  After 8 hours I rode my bike home.  2.2 miles on the bike today.  Husband and I went to Taco bell.  Ate a crunch wrap and taco supreme.  Drank more water.  Splurged tonight and had a cupcake. ... More water.  Tonight before bed I'll take another vitamin (they call it isaflush) Now I"m working online.  Feeling completely fullfilled.  Took my measurement after a bath... down 3 inches in the waste now.

I've tried intermittent fasting and did not think it was for me. Breakfast is a very important meal of the day I felt it was throwing off my metabolic rate all over the place. Ever hear of the 4-4-12 rule? I'm a heath coach and can tell you that if you're not resetting your metabolism properly then those skipping meal diets most likely will work for a short period. I do it just to reset as a cleanse for my body but don't stick with it for a long period of time. If you find me on my Facebook page kcurrieweightloss I will give you some tips. 😉

Resetting your metabolism - that's it that it!  I never knew the right words to explain how the cleanse works.  Thank you.  Now I know how to word what I'm trying to say simply rather going on this long spiel.

For the lat 3 months I try to stop eating by 6pm and don't eat the the following day until noon. It can be a little rough at times, but it's working for me and I have been losing weight.

My son loves the keto diet ...

Thanks! I don't intend to do IF long term. I just thought I'd try it and see if it would give me a little boost for weight loss. I can usually maintain my weight by exercise alone. Last winter I had a long bout of depression, plus they closed the fitness center at my apartment for about 5 months. So I was gaining weight and no way to battle it. Once I get back to where I want to be, I should be able to get back to my normal routine and maintain.

I was losing weight really well but then got more of an appetite and sweet tooth back and now I don't think I am losing at all.   In fact may have gained 5 or 6 lbs. it is hard for me to tell about the weight gain because of health issues I hold water badly at times.  I think I may try some of your suggestions well not the 5-2 I also am not good at counting calories and 500-600 seems a bit low for being diabetic.

It's 16 hours of fasting and 8 hour window for eating. You choose when your 8 hours start and end. You just eat normally during your 8 hours, no binge eating but no counting calories either. The theory is when you fast and have no carbs to burn, your body converts fat to ketones for energy. Personally, I think the weight loss results from 16:8 fasting aren't necessarily from ketosis, but more likely the fact that you have a smaller window of eating time. Therefore you're consuming fewer calories than you normally would. Unless of course you're cramming 3 full meals into 8 hours, which I think would make me sick.

i started doing this about 3 months ago and i noticed dramatic changes also went to a keto based diet for about 5 weeks, i do the 16:8 fast

I walk around 5 miles a day min a mum and I eat small scheduled meals
if i have desert i have small portions.
the key is moderation
was 179  now 135 .

I've added Apple Cider Vinegar to my diet. It's supposed to aid in weight loss, but I haven't noticed any yet. I'm mostly taking it for it's other applications though. (Preventing High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, etc)
