Your favourite/hardest Tongue Twister
« on: October 01, 2009, 10:24:35 pm »
I got few...

The sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick.
 - (Read in wiki that this is supposedly the World's Hardest Tongue Twister, according to the Guiness Book of World Records)

My childhood favorite: She sells sea shells on the see shore

Another one...
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers
Where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

- Try this fast and five times...

I got till 2.5 and then...;D

i blatantly ripped this off of Animaniacs, but any time I or someone I'm talking to ends up getting tongue-tied in conversation, I'll reply, "Say that sentence six times speedily".

That's about the closest I've got to a favourite tongue-twister.

I'm not the pheasant plucker,
I'm the pheasant plucker's son,
And I'll sit here plucking pheasants
Till the pheasant plucking's done.

How hard is it to repeat 'Red leather, Yellow leather' super-fast ???

Don't see the tongue twisting effect in it... :dontknow: maybe if I do it more than 15 times, perhaps?

Anybody?

If fuzzy-wuzzy was a bear
and fuzzy-wuzzy had no hair
than fuzzy-wuzzy wasn't very fuzzy
was he?

Terry took the territory twice to take Tammy to the tricycle then to take Tim,Terry, then Ted to the twisted train.

When we were kids we used to time eachother to see who could say that 5 times the fastest w/o screwing up.
