Do you give money to panhandlers?

I've tried to stop but some look so genuinely poor that I just do.

I have once but only because he had a sweet dog with him;  I just rolled down the passenger window and handed it to him.  That was in a different town.  We have way too many in our town and they're pretty scary.  There was 4 of them sitting outside our Walgreens one day and I was frankly scared to walk past them but I did.  After I got home I called the manager and told him he was probably losing business because of them being lined up against the main wall.

Nope. I give to  charities and also volunteer at one.  Too many of the panhandlers are not on the up and up. In fact there have been a few arrested here so far. Our town is cracking down on them. They were starting to be a problem around here.

Sometimes I do, not sure what they do with it but not for me to  figure out, I think some of them honestly need it and it spear change.

In the past I did give money to panhandlers, but I stopped because I look at how most of them is dressed and it's usually because they are wearing gym shoes that cost far more than what I buy.

They are everywhere. I have before in the past but I try not to anymore.
