I don't notice an aftertaste. Although when our taste buds and brains are used to eating sugary foods and drinks there is a neuron in our brain that has been trained to look forward to, accept, appreciate and begin salivating to digest the sugar before it's even been brought to our lips. The expression, "makes my mouth water" is a real phenomenon. That is fascinating to me. I've recently limited my sugar intake (a lifelong struggle I've bounced back and forth with) I've started using Apriva (Kroger version of Stevia) And my brain is actually in training in breaking the sugar addiction. It's so cool and rewarding all at the same time.
