Stevia

For anyone who has ever at least tasted stevia, have you ever experienced a bitter aftertaste? I do NOT want any messages from anyone who has never tried stevia. Those would not be any of my business.

I've definitely tried it but I don't use it a lot just because I'm not much for sweets.  But I've tried it because it is a great healthy alternative.  I haven't noticed a bitter after taste.

I love Stevia in the Raw in my coffee. I've never noticed a bitter taste. Sugar is too sweet and the artificial sweeteners make me nauseated. I've also tried monk fruit but I don't like the taste.

lol. You can't tell people not to reply. You will get a lot that say I don't know and Never tried it and on and on.
Having said that....

I have never used the powder or liquid you get at the stores but have grown my own. I do not remember an after taste.

I don't notice an aftertaste.  Although when our taste buds and brains are used to eating sugary foods and drinks there is a neuron in our brain that has been trained to look forward to, accept, appreciate and begin salivating to digest the sugar before it's even been brought to our lips.  The expression, "makes my mouth water" is a real phenomenon. That is fascinating to me.  I've recently limited my sugar intake (a lifelong struggle I've bounced back and forth with) I've started using Apriva (Kroger version of Stevia) And my brain is actually in training in breaking the sugar addiction.  It's so cool and rewarding all at the same time.

Try many sugar substitutes because sugar itself is not good for you. Sugar causes many health problems.
Then decide which one is your favorite sugar substitute.

I don’t think you’re missing too much. Stevia isn’t really that popular. I’m familiar with a lot of not so well-known things.

Do not use the artificial sugars.  I think they just have chemicals you dont want.  Just use the real sugar.
