I use m8 w a lot.  I put pork roast with sauerkraut, my family love that.  I make chili, I’ve cooked a whole chicken, almost everything.

My favorite crock pot recipe is Corned Beef with potatoes, carrots and cabbage. I used to make it a lot but like all meat, it's getting too expensive to buy. There was a sale locally for $1.97/lb. on corned beef back in March or April and hubby bought 5 of them. It's his favorite meat. I still have 2 left. I am to the point where I get 2 meals out of each roast.

I have 2 large crock pots for cooking for family gatherings and pot lucks. Then I have a smaller one for just the 2 of us. But I always use the large one when I am making homemade  spaghetti sauce and some  soup makings and then freeze it and when I need some to cook I will take out a container thaw it then add the other ingredients to it. I do not like potatoes frozen after being cooked they get mushy. also would  rather cook my pasta  just before we eat.

My favorite is beef... when I purchase the right cut and put the right spices and broth in it.  I turned to Yummly for the last beef recipe and it was AMAZING.  Good beef is so dang expensive though.  I usually shop the sales ad and pick up a slab of whatever is on sale and plan a crock pot meal around that.  I wish I did it at least once a week... but I always slack.

This is my favorite too!  The beef always seems more tender and I usually add my potatoes and carrots to it also.  However, I never use a broth as they are to salty so just add water.

Slow cookers are wonderful.

You can cook a nice dinner in the summer, no hot stove.

You can throw it in first thing in the morning, and only have to enjoy the lovely aroma all day.

Food comes out so tender, with flavors "married".

I wanted to get one of those Instapots I think they are called (a cross between a crockpot and a pressure cooker)  I have a nice crockpot that I never use.  I need to start using it end up getting crappy fast food which I can't stand any more.  I also want to get an electric skillet and an indoor grill. Oh well we'll see what I do lol or don't do.

  :glasses-nerdy:  :silly: One of my favorite dish from a crook pot would be beans, you can leave it cooking while doing other things. Crook pots can make some good dishes, if you just try.   :silly:

When I use to eat meat, this was my favorite: London Broil with seasonings and veggies. Tastes just like a pot roast. If you buy the bottom round its more expensive than a london broil steak, just sayin' ..lol

I love putting meat in the crock pot.  It comes out so tender.  Ham, pot roast, pork roast.  I use it for chili, soups, a lot of things.  I recently saw a recipe for pizza in the crock pot!
