Bagels and Cream Cheese

I never did like bagels.  I love cream cheese, though.

I only ate chocolate ice-cream, chocolate pudding, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and a few other things until I was about 18 years old. Yes, seriously.

When I fell in love , no seriously, I started eating filet mignon and lots of other new foods; even chicken livers.

I was quite a bit older when I tried bagels and cream cheese. I don't eat them now because they kind of help pack on the pounds. 

I do love the taste of asiago bagels. I like asiago cheese on anything. I sprinkle it on lots of stuff, especially salads.

The same for me! As for foods you didn't try until you were older... cauliflower, broccoli and lemon squares. My sister-in-law has been making the latter for decades, and it wasn't until I was in my 30s that I actually ate one. Now I know why my older sisters always fought over who got the last one!

Nothing better than doing surveys while chomping down on a bagel with cream cheese!!  Coffee is good too!

    I've had bagels and cream cheese most of my life, which I still love them. I'm unsure of which foods I had at a later time in my life. I'm sure there's a few. Unsure which ones at this time.

Bagels are super super high in carbs! Once in a while is okay, just know your limits. Bagels are yummy but they will stick right to my hips..lol

I love bagels and cream cheese or bagels with anything.  At present, however, I stay away from them for dietary purposes.

I did not know about bagels and cream cheese until I was in my middle twenties and met my husband.  He grew up in New York and where we went and got donuts on Sunday morning (in the south) his Dad went and got bagels and cream cheese.  Do you eat bagels and cream cheese?  Are there foods you didn't try until you were older?

I love bagels with cream cheese!  I like strawberry cream cheese as well as plain.  I like bagels with raisins in them.  I like the chewiness of a toasted bagel.

There are some foods that I had never had while growing up that my adult children have introduced to me.  Avocados are one of these foods.  My eldest daughter shared a BLT sandwich that she had added sliced avocado to.  Yummy!  I will slice an avocado and eat it plain now.

I love bagels and cream cheese, my favorite bagels are the everything, and the ones with garlic on top, oh and the cheese ones are pretty good too.
