I'm a city girl.  The only cons I see are some neighbors and some stupid city ordinances.  The rest of my family would like to live in the country, but I like our house in the city.

I prefer the city. Will only consider the countryside if the city is not very far.

Give me the countryside any day over the city!  I enjoy my peace and quite with nature.
Have a wonderful day!

I currently live downtown in a large city. I love being within walking distance of so many things to do: restaurants, art museums, science museum, sports arena, music venues, parks, etc. There's always somewhere to go, something to do. On the other hand, you get sick of all the people, all the traffic, and it's tough to find a quiet place to escape. I would love to live in the country and have a big garden, a bunch of dogs, goats and chickens. I want to be surrounded by trees and listen to all the wildlife and nature. I can't decide!

I like the Countryside, but not to far away from the city.  I love nature but sometime I need a little city life.

We lived in the country for years until 3 yrs. ago we moved into the city, I'm a country girl, cost more to live in the city, paying for water, which should be free, paying for storm water fees, gas stove, but we will be ok.

  :glasses-nerdy:  :silly: I've lived in both city and countryside, which neither far from a food store. Both have good and bad things I'd prefer. I'm good with where I live now.   :glasses-nerdy:  :silly:

I've never lived in much of a city.  Small towns my whole life.  In fact the town I live in now is the largest I've ever lived in and I really like it here.  I like having everything so close.  If my car breaks down nothing is inconvenient to get to.  There is public transportation.  A hospital just a hop skip and a jump away.  Sure living in the country is quiet and peaceful but most of the time my neighborhood is pretty tame.

Do you prefer to live in an urban or rural territory? I’m more of a city person as long as I can live in a quieter portion. There’s hardly anything to do in a country area.

I prefer to live in a rural area.  I grew up on a small farm in the 60's.  We ALWAYS had something to do!

My siblings and I played outside all day long.  We used our imaginations.  I used a dishtowel as my horse.  We made forts out of branches, logs.  We climbed around on the haystack and up in the barn hay mow.  We played with the cats and dogs.   We had daily chores also and we helped with jobs that we did as a family like picking up rock in the fields, walking beans to pull or cut out weeds, chopping thistles, baling hay.

More of  suburban person but only live about a 45 minute drive from downtown Chicago so I guess I have the best of both worlds.  Love the country to get away for a day or two
