FC Fantasy Football

I know it seems unlikely we'll get one of these this year with Kohler's infrequent visits, but are any of you playing this year? Maybe we could get enough of us together to have a (unpaid) league this year. Any thoughts?

I do agree with you, Jedi, that there appears to be little chance of playing Fantasy Football this season with FC (Kohler as Commissioner).  I really enjoyed the last one FC participated in (draft took place in Sept. 2016).  Actually, I had a blast because Dallas had a 'real' team again, inspired by Dak Prescott.  I do realize it's a huge time commitment, too.  I think we should get this conversation rolling.  🏈

I play fantasy football on other sites and had no idea it was played here in the past as I only joined FC about 3 months ago. If it were available here, I would be open to participating.

Well, if we can generate enough interest (and someone knows how to start a league) we could get a FC league set up this year.

I'm involved in two leagues this year - one is a recurring league made up of some of my wife's co-workers and a few spouses/relatives.  I used to also do a league online with a few friends that live spread across the country, until they began excluding many states from eligibility. So the past few years, I've just joined a single random online league. This year, my state was added to the ineligible list. So I converted myself over to a Yahoo! league. I hope that this one doesn't add Ohio to the excluded states list.


I missed out on the FC league a few years back, but would be interested in joining a league in the future if organized.

Well, I joined a league. Haven't done too bad so far. Got a record of 1-1.

I am 2-0 in one league and 0-2 in the other. In my 0-fer league, I had the third draft pick and some bozo took Zeke Elliott at #1, so after Todd Gurley went #2, it was a no brainer for me to *bleep* up LeVeon Bell at #3.  And then THAT happened...  I was able to pick up his back up after week one, but that doesn't help the fact that I missed out on many other productive players in the first round of the draft.


In the other league I got lucky and had the overall #1 pick and took Gurley right off.

I don't really like fantasy football but I do agree a lot of people  will like it. I also think they should have some contests like they used to to give us pennies again . it was great when kohler did it

But I have won a couple championships in my time and lost a couple in the last game all the way to the end....

I have a son-in-law who is big on fantasy football.  I wouldn't know enough to even try, but it sounds like a lot of fun for those folks who are football fans!  It's got to make the season more exciting!

I lost in back to back weeks. I really need to bounce back this week. Brady is on bye, but I have Phil Rivers as my backup. Here's hoping....
