I was conducting consumer outreach as part of my day time work duties last week and needed to find out why a guy was getting three to five hundred dollars eight to ten times per week. The gentleman explained that he was a passive escort. He was hired by professional women, who did not have time to engage in the dating scene, to be a pseudo date to large functions. Often times the women needed to have a side kick for charity functions, company outings...even visiting parents. He had started about five years ago and is only required to be personable, polite, engaging, in good shape, and well dressed. He said that he had to learn how to dance for a few gigs. Hmmm. That is interesting. Especially that a woman would pay several hundred dollars for a guy to date her one night and no s*x be involved.  I also find it hard to believe a woman would pay that kind of money for a guy to go to an event with her.  Surely she knows a half way decent looking guy that would be arm candy for a night.

Well no, he is working. He is working for cash. A lot of people do that. If you plan on filing taxes then you need some income to show on a tax form.  And I don't guess you could put that.  Although it is not illegal to work for an escort service.

I see nothing wrong with that as long as he's not prostituting himself.  Of course, wouldn't matter to me if he did that either since I wouldn't be one hiring him lol.  Sounds like he has a pretty good gig going on there!
