What types of things have you been paid for at least once that you could technically consider yourself a professional? I have been paid for pictures I have taken at an event and am currently on my first paid acting gig at a local group.

Awesome! That's a great gift you have to be able to do that ! Good luck to you!! I did not go to school or anything but I can cut hair pretty good if I say so myself!! I really wish I had gone on to school and learned more about it!

I have been paid for singing many times, but more often I just enjoy doing it.

I've sold a couple of my paintings.  I was so thrilled that someone was willing to pay me for something I do for fun :)

I did knit in my younger days and did sell a couple of sweaters. However, like most things hand made in order to make money you have to charge a lot of money and knitting is very time consuming :rose: :pumpkin: :peace:

I have  made good money doing craft show with my hand painted gourds. also other crafts. But as time goes on my hands are getting worse and I am having to cut down on fine painting, can't hold tiny brushes or  paint as well. although they still look great I see small mistakes. so am letting my hands rest for  awhile. I also make and sold specialty pickles for a long time. another thing really hard on my hands. so now I just make watermelon pickles for hubby, family and friends.

I get paid for cake/cookie/decorating and baking.  My profession is cake decorator in retail grocery store.  I never went to school for it.  In fact the art slowly developed.  It wasn't my plan but it's a gift I've honed and choose to do 40+ hours per week.  I also take orders outside my home.  Now it's become a passion and I'm known all over town as "the cake lady."

At work, their workers did not know how or remember how to do the routine, I taught them everything.
