I was thinking about where I was when we got the call telling what was going on.  We need to not forget what happened 17 years ago today.  And how our country has changed since that day.  And it changed forever!

I was getting read for work. when  the first plane hit, sit and watched it all. No was not late for work. Because I set my own schedule all the time as to when I would go in.  That was the most heartbreaking  news  on the TV, We lost so many good people that day. I pray nothing like that ever happens again to our country and our people.

I remember where I was. Sitting in my 7th grade math class when my teacher came in and told us. Not only do I think about these horrible events but I also think of my grandpa because he passed on 9/11/06.

Weather was beautiful that day in NY.I was taking my wife to work and had WCBS FM on an oldies station and the report came thru.I figured a small aircraft was involved. Then the report came a 2nd plane hit the other tower and you knew it was war.

I went over mother-in-laws house and put tv on and couldnt believe what i saw for hrs. When the South tower went down around 10am i thought a bomb had exploded to finish the job....but as we know the plane crash had done its job.Imagine South tower got hit 15 minutes later and went down 30 minutes sooner then North tower.
