Exercise
« on: October 03, 2018, 12:04:38 pm »
I try to exercise at the least 2 hours a week if not 3, 4 hours a week.  Still overweight, but try to stay fit.  Am 68, want to keep cholesterol down.

Every little bit helps and getting into a routine is key.  Good luck!

I'm 65 and don't do enough exercise.  Walking/hiking is my preferred exercise.  Summertime was unbearably hot here and really cut down on my walks.  Now that fall is here we're going to get back into it.

Been going to gym about 9 years now.   Lost 25 lbs. that has stayed off.  Can't seem to lose any more though.  Health checkups have gotten better since I've started exercising again.

Because you are a senior, you are going to find it keeps your mind sharp too, plus wards off things like depression, and makes you in far better shape to recover quickly from any operations you might need, etc. Exercise really does do wonders.

I started walking as exercise about 3-4 months ago.  I try to get 3 - 5 miles in a day.
Have a wonderful day!

I try to exercise at least 3 days a week, and would like to make it four but I cannot right now.

I need to exercise more because it gives me more energy.  I work in the yard a lot but with these cooler temps I will have to get motivated and do something inside.

Two days a week I go to the gym for two hours each day. The other days I work out for 45 minutes to an hour.  Because of my disability I have to exercise every day. And when I don't I really feel it and can't get around as well.  :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :peace:
